Wedding & Reception

Chateau Bellevue: 708 San Antonio St, Austin, TX 78701

Please note: Our wedding and reception is an adult only affair. To give all our guests the opportunity to let their hair down and have a good time without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we are keeping our event to 18+. Thank you for keeping your kiddos and infants at home. If you have any concerns, please let us know. You can e-mail us at: zaleskitomyheart@gmail.com.

Itinerary:

Mingle time: 4:30-5:15pm. Outdoors, on the upper patio. Grab a drink from our open bar, chat, and grab your seat for the ceremony. Please enter the event from the side of the house (the gate to the patio is kept locked).

Ceremony: 5:15pm. Outdoors, on the lower patio. Note: no drinks are allowed on the lower patio for the ceremony, and we ask that you don’t film/take photos during the ceremony. We are livestreaming the ceremony, so we thank you in advance for helping our videographer have an optimal view!

Cocktail Hour: Post Ceremony-7pm. Outdoors, on the upper patio. Grab a drink from our open bar, mingle, and check out your table assignment on the assignment board. Photo booth opens inside and runs from 6pm-midight.

Dinner Reception: 7pm-8:30pm. Seated dinner, inside. Dinner served family style. Followed by some toasts and cake.

Dancing: 8:30-10pm. We will have the DJ playing songs, so join us on the dance floor. Don’t forget to check out the photobooth in the back!

Fun Dance Karaoke and Late Night Snacks: 10pm-12am. At 10pm, our DJ will convert to a KJ. We ask your songs be fun and upbeat, to keep the dancing going!. RVSP for your Karaoke songs here. We’ll also have late snacks floating around to absorb some of that alcohol.

Costumes:

Just kidding! This might be the first event we have held where people won’t be wearing costumes! As far as what to wear: the event is semi-formal (slacks & jackets / jumpsuits / dresses). April temperatures in Austin can vary, but you can expect Lows in the 50s and Highs in the 70s. Austin is always pretty darn humid, so pack your hairspray and deodorant.

What if it rains?

If it rains, we will move the mingle time, ceremony, and cocktail hour indoors. April generally isn’t too rainy, but it if it does rain, then you get more time in the air conditioning. You really can’t lose.

How do I get there?

If you are staying downtown, we recommend taking a ride share (Lyft or Uber). If you are driving, there is a free parking lot owned by Chateau Bellevue behind the venue…no need to find an overpriced parking deck or park on the street. Please enter through the side door of the venue. If you park behind the venue, you will need to take a hike up the hill.

What If I can’t make it?

We hope you can! But we understand completely if you can’t. We will be live streaming our wedding for those who can’t make it. We will send the link via e-mail (and post it here too) closer to the date.

We ask that the people coming to the wedding do not take videos/photos during the ceremony. Since we will have a videographer, we want to make sure their view is optimal.

What about COVID?

We are glad you asked. We already postponed our wedding once. 4/9/22 is 100% a go. We expect to have about 100 people at our wedding. To make sure we have a safe space for people, we are requiring people (regardless of vaccination status) to test daily before the event. If you are attending more than one wedding event, you will need to test each day. For example: if you are attending the rehearsal and the wedding, you will need to test on both Friday and Saturday.

Below are some links to FDA approved at home covid tests. If you run into trouble getting a test and need one, we will be happy to supply you with one. Just let us know know.
